This is our take on a fantasy styled ancient Egyptian spear- The Spear of Life. it sports the Ankh as well as the Scarab, both heavily involved in Egyptian symbolism that deals with life, the afterlife, and rebirth. the hieroglyphs above approximately translate into "Spear of Osiris", Osiris also being involved with life and rebirth. The handle similarly sports a burned symbol of the Scarab as well as carved gold painted spirals and rings. The throat of the spear is wrapped in white linen, which in turn is wrapped with a gold and black colored braid.

As these spears are all hand engraved, carved, stained, finished, and wrapped they will each also be a bit unique.

- The handle is red oak.

- The head is tempered carbon steel.

- Overall length is approximately 65 inches.

- These spears are fully functional, designed to be very strong. That said, use in a work setting may scratch or scuff the finish. This would be a cosmetic issue though, and would not reduce functionality. They are unsharpened, meant to be carried at a faire or otherwise shown off!
